COSTCO, MY LOVE
You know it, you love it, it's Costco. From hot dogs to pesto, vodka to croissants, Costco has it all. Now, I'm a self-proclaimed Costco lover. Never has that beautiful place let me down. In fact, during my darkest hours as a lactose-intolerant woman trying to navigate this ever so delicious world, Costco has been for been there for me. Its generous supply of bulk medications and disturbingly large box of Kirkland-brand Lactaid have accompanied me through many milkshakes and cheeseburgers. I could go on at length about why I love Costco so much, and yes, maybe a good portion of that tangent would be entirely about their hot dogs. But alas, that is not this article.
From very young age I knew I loved Costco. After my 3rd grade soccer games every Saturday, my feet would go from the grassy field of the Community Center to the beautiful linoleum floors of Costco. The nostalgia runs deep- just like my membership savings. Today, I'd like to outline my most purchased items in an effort to prove my adoration for this beloved pillar of our beautiful society.
Eggs - Never in my life do I hope to encounter the dissatisfaction of paying an ungodly price for a single carton of eggs. The alluring five dozen brick of Costco organic eggs calls to me every time I make a purchase from my favorite wholesaler. If I could convince you to get a Costco membership for only one item, it would indeed be for the eggs. As an avid baker and egg connoisseur I can confidently say your money would never be spent on a more valuable item than the five dozen eggs at Costco.
Muffins - A fun fact about me is that when I was a baby my teeth were de-calcified which essentially meant that the protective layer we all have, our enamel, was weakened. That meant that I couldn’t have sugary foods on a regular basis. So, when special events came around, like my birthday, my mom would pick up about two dozen muffins from Costco and bring them to school so I could share with my friends. Now she would buy both blueberry and chocolate to appease the tastes of my fellow 6-year-olds, however I've always been a blueberry muffin gal. Though there are many a’ muffins in this world, I can confidently say my favorite is the Costco blueberry muffin.
Tuna - My last, and perhaps unconventional item, is Kirkland's tuna-in-water cans. Coming in a delightful pack of eight, this bulk product is devoured in a good three weeks time. While my mother complains that I'm going to get mercury poisoning, I choose the consistent happiness of my tuna bowls. Personally, I'm afraid of preparing raw tuna fish by myself as one would for a typical poke bowl. To circumvent this issue, I prepare canned tuna instead. No better value is found for canned tuna than the value found at Costco. And I will also say that I've never had a problem with the quality of the fish found in those magnificent silver cans. If you're looking for an excellent source of protein, Kirkland tuna cans are your way to go.
Time and time again, Costco has proven itself to be the wholesaler among wholesalers, a man among men, if you will. Throughout my life it has provided me with all the essentials; from the diapers of my infancy to the medications of tomorrow, Costco has been and will forever be by my side. No amount of blog posts can properly encapsulate my love for this wholesale giant, but I do hope that this blog is enough to convince you to invest in a Costco membership. Trust me, there's no other way to live.
P.S. If you do not have a car and you’re letting that stop you in partaking in Costco’s paradise – FEAR NOT! Costco provides same-day delivery of all items to its members at no extra cost! Just food for thought…

Your love for Costco is so relatable! I’m obsessed with how you made eggs, muffins, and tuna sound like treasures of the universe. When I first entered a Costco at age 12, I was obsessed too! I might go to Costco today after reading this post.
